The Walkable Church Event Recap and Pics
Epoch's first public lecture / discussion was a success. The crew that showed was a great cross-section of metro Vancouver, the discussion and conversations were rich, the networking proved to be pivotal, and we felt like we were able to push forward the conversation on The Walkable Church. The two topics explored were a theology of place and pedestrian-oriented church planting. A special thanks to Paul and Tim from the Parish Collective in Seattle who came, talked about a theology of place, and shared about what PC is about and doing. This was a first dry-run at exploring themes and topics that make up the Metrospiritual Lecture Series.
About the Metrospiritual Lecture Series:
Metrospiritual is about living out faith in the city. The Metrospiritual Lecture Series explores various aspects, elements, ideas, methodologies, and theology of what an urban-centric faith looks like expressed in the city. A metrospirituality can have a shaping effect on the way the church lives in, loves, serves, embraces, and engages the city with the Good News of the Kingdom of God.
Stay tuned for our next public lecture ...
